Cheney the Tyrant on Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and 9/11 *PIC*
In "The Lonesome Death of the American Dream" the writer urgently appeals to Americans to hold their leaders accountable:
You had better start holding your leaders accountable. You had better start taking responsibility for what happens in your name or you soon won’t even have a name, you’ll have a number. You had better get about it today. Now is the hour. Let me hear the sound of millions of voices raised in protest. Let me hear the sound of silenced machines. Let me see stalled cars and empty trains and buses and airplanes. Let me see empty malls and empty amusement parks.
I have always said that George W. Bush and Dick Cheney should have been impeached in 2001 for their failure to demand an immediate full-blown blue ribbon investigation into the terror attacks of 9/11. Anyone who is opposed to impeaching Bush and Cheney is supporting their criminal dictatorial regime, in my opinion.
(Had such a catastrophe befallen ancient Rome the bodies of the tyrants would have probably been floating in the Tiber the next day.)
In the recent interview with Larry King, Dick Cheney said that he believes that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed is "the mastermind of 9/11."
"He probably has more responsibility than anybody else, possible exception of Osama bin Laden, for the deaths of 3,000 Americans on 9/11," Cheney said.
Here is the quote from the interview:
Larry King: General Powell says he would close Guantanamo yesterday. Would you?
Cheney: No. No, I think you need to have someplace to hold those individuals who have been captured during the global war on terror. I'm thinking of people like Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. This is a man we captured in Pakistan. He's the mastermind of 9/11. He probably has more responsibility than anybody else, possible exception of Osama bin Laden, for the deaths of 3,000 Americans on 9/11. He is now in custody. We need to hold him someplace. He's held at Guantanamo.
There are hundreds of people like that, and if you closed Guantanamo, you'd have to find someplace else to put these folks.
If the man called Khalid Sheikh Mohammed being held at Guantanamo is indeed the "mastermind of 9/11," as Cheney says, why is he not put on trial in a U.S. court so the American people can learn how and why he did it?
As I wrote in my article about the KSM "confession":
Unless the person who is claiming to be the terror mastermind of 911 is brought to the United States and put on trial in which all the evidence is presented, there is nothing to convince us that there is any truth in these incredible claims coming from a super-secret tribunal held behind the closed doors of Camp Delta in Quantanamo, Cuba.
Cheney's statement on KSM being the mastermind of 9/11 and his actions to prevent a full-blown investigation into the attacks indicate that he is one of the the key managers of the cover-up - if not one of the architects of 9/11.
Dick Cheney needs to be held accountable to the American people for his actions in covering up the truth of what happened when 3,000 people were killed on 9/11. Cheney needs to be held accountable for taking the nation into two illegal wars of aggression. The evidence indicates that Cheney and Bush are war criminals and complicit in crimes of terrorism and mass murder.
