READER IS HEARING VOICES IN THE WHITE NOISE.... ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCING THIS?
Within the past few weeks I've had an odd experience that has happened more
than once. I sometimes find that when there is the a masking or white noise,
such as a fan makes or my clock's "white noise" setting; that I occasionally
hear indistinct sounds like voices. The first time it happened was at night. It
was keeping me awake and I had to change the noise on my clock to get rid of
the noises so I could go to sleep. The second clear time was in the bathroom
with the fan on. Again, with the fan off there was no "voices". But when
turning it back on, I heard the sounds again like indistinct male voices (I'm a
guy).
I cannot quite figure out if my hearing is getting weird, if it's a common
phenomenon, or if I'm "going nuts". So far I have only heard indistinct tones
like a conversation or like multiple speakers at the same time. I cannot quite
decide if I want to hear and understand the voices or not. I'm an electronic
engineer by training and while open to the unexplained and unorthodox, I did
not expect this!
My question is this - Have others out there experienced this?
By the way, I've been following RMN regularly for a few years now. I enjoy the
uncensored news and different viewpoints.
