BOLLYN TRIAL - Goes Into Day Three on Monday

The Bollyn Trial will continue for a third day on Monday, June 4, at the Cook County Circuit Court in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.
The trial began on May 31 after most of the day was spent picking the jury and dealing with pre-trial motions. At the end of the day the prosecution presented its case followed by Bollyn's lawyer presenting his defense case.
Day two, June 1, was taken up with the presentation of the state's witnesses, which were 4. The prosecution presented the three plainclothes officers who were involved in the assault on Bollyn last August 15 and a former neighbor who is acting as a witness for the state.
Bollyn's legal team grilled the witnesses, two non-uniformed tactical officers and one uniformed officer, in cross examination.
The versions of the three plain clothes police varied a great deal and the story presented by the former neighbor was at even greater odds from the "official" version.
