READER: HOMELAND SECURITY ALERTS ON RADIO WARNING TO PREPARE AND...

I do not have TV for 2 years now, so do not have that exposure at all.
I listen to talk radio sporadically on my days off. Tuesday, the day following
the VT shootings, the entire day, advertisements from Home Land Security
warning people of upcoming unsafe events and prepare for some as
not-yet-happened disaster were repeated over and over.
Lars Larsen, a West Coast talk show host, clean, not insulting, treats his
guest respectfully, etc., repeated clear instructions OVER AND OVER how a group
of illegals could easily to take over a shopping mall, chain the exit doors,
shoot people, take out "over 3000", as many as in the WTC. It could happen "in
any mall." He repeated the scenario his entire show, adding details, about "how
easy it would be" to accomplish this in any mall anywhere across the United
States.
His excuse was, "I'm not saying anything that isn't obvious. I'm just surprised
it hasn't happened yet."
I was just half heartedly listening to the show, but my attention was finally
caught with his emphatic repeating of the above scenario. That coupled with the
Home Land Security "ads" warning people to prepare for disaster seemed
strange.... Then everything seems strange nowadays.
