Like everyone else, I was believing the honey bee disaster until I actually talked to a local bee man in my area. His bees are fine.
Then a few weeks ago an article came out in a south west Washington state newspaper. Honeybees in this area seem to be OK.
The bee man I talked to said that many of the bee men have become so large, they are not able to monitor and take good care of their hives. They are busy sending semi loads of bees all over the U.S. It has become big business.
I don't know what the true story is, but I am glad to see you raise a question about what the true story may be. Thanks.
