:Judging from some of the politicians in Washington, you would think there were a higher than normal percentage of perverts and murderers and various psychotics there. But that's not really news, is it?

What's news is that I do indeed have some very strong political connections in Modesto, among the more conservative side of things, and I have what I hope will turn out to be good news. Word is that certain political opponents of the Condit/Coehlo machine have enough goods on Condit (stuff that hasn't yet been revealed) to finally break the hold these two have had on Central Valley politics for decades now. And yes, Rayelan, the word around here is indeed that Tony is covering for our golden boy. But they might at last be going down. We can only hope. When the timing is right, I promise to reveal my source, but please trust me when I say it would absolutely be the worst thing I could do right now.

There's a posting at the top from The Q that seems to indicate they are also aware of the possible implications. It would seem that many California Democrats, including Condit, Coehlo, and Gray Davis, have been set up to bite the dust. Perhaps The Q can confirm or deny what I've indicated here. It would be nice to know whether or not my source is in the loop or not, as I do trust these people at this point, but wish to retain the wisdom of wariness when it comes to rendering aid to any faction, which I may be beholden to do in the near future if this relationship should continue.

On a merrier note, I attended the protest in Modesto today, and shouted until I was hoarse for the slime to resign. I know he won't, at least not yet, for the word is his Congressional Pension won't be completely vested until September, so you know his wife has informed him the impending divorce will be much uglier if he can't manage to hold on until then! More as I get it, but I'll be out until Monday on a trip out of town.
