I know you won't believe this -- but -- my main phone is out. The telephone company turned it off. If you call it you will get a recording that says my number has been changed and the new number is:

When you call my new number you get a recording stating the number you called is no longer in service.

The phone has been off for almost three days now. It was off for a day before I discovered it and called the phone company. It was supposed to have been turned on a half hour after I called which would have been about 3pm yesterday, July 3rd.

Today is the 4th, and the phone is as dead as a doornail.

There is NOTHING that can be done because today is a holiday, and since my phone is NOT broken, the repair service cannot handle the problem.

My main phone problem is:

I leave for work before the phone company opens, so I won't even be able to call until about 1pm tomorrow. By this time, I am sure many of my friends and family will have begun to think that I have dropped off the earth.

Having my phone go out right at this time is a strange coicidence that I would not have even thought about if puzzlepieces hadn't reminded me about the last time it happened!

You have to admit... it IS quite a coincidence.

In addition to this... I have discovered that quite a number of my emails to my AOL account have never arrived!

If I remember right, this was what was happening the last time also!

Then... all my computers crashed! And I DON'T have them net-worked! Three individual computers all developed problems at the same time!

Well... let's hope that this time, having my phone down is ALL that I have to put up with!!
